Wild violets (Viola sororia) are a charming perennial ground cover with heart-shaped leaves and delicate purple-blue blooms that arrive early in spring. These hardy native plants thrive in partial shade and moist soil, making them perfect for woodland gardens, borders, or natural lawns. Loved by pollinators and humans alike, their flowers are edible and can be used for teas, syrups, or decorating desserts.
 
Planting Instructions:
- Cold Stratification Recommended
- Direct sow in fall OR cold stratify seeds for 30–60 days if sowing indoors
- Sow on moist soil surface and lightly press in (do not bury)
- Keep soil moist during germination
